Major League Baseball leaked the news recently that all minor leaguers are about to be tested regularly for HGH via blood samples. After a great deal of discussion, players will now be subjected to random testing after games.
HGH is considered a performance enhancing drug because it has been shown to help build muscle mass and to boost energy and performance levels in athletes (and regular people), giving players using HGH an unfair advantage over their non-using counterparts.
Many unsuspecting minor league players are expected to fail the drug tests over the coming weeks.
HGH, or Human Growth Hormone, is used around the world as an anti-aging remedy and in medical cases involving growth problems in children. It may be regulated in baseball and some other sports because of its performance enhancing qualities, but in Hollywood it continues to be used freely as a veritable fountain of youth!
