Human growth hormone (HGH) is one of the most important hormones the body can produce. Growth hormone is vital when we are young as it helps increase height in children and adolescents. However, there are other functions of growth hormone which include:
HGH is a very important factor in our body’s development and without it there are many deficiencies that may occur. HGH is important in the development of youth to help with growth, healing and overall function and maintenance of the body.
So what are the factors that affect human growth hormone production into the body?
There are a number of factors that limit HGH production into the body. The first is HGH deficiency which is a the lack of growth hormone when we are born. In children, growth failure and short stature are the major manifestations of GH deficiency, with common causes including genetic conditions and congenital malformations. It can also cause delayed sexual maturity.
This will negatively affect both your insulin sensitivity and your human growth hormone (HGH) production. A recent study in the Journal of Applied Physiology found that eating a low-carbohydrate meal after aerobic exercise enhances your insulin sensitivity. This is highly beneficial, since impaired insulin sensitivity, or insulin resistance, is the underlying cause of type 2 diabetes and a significant risk factor for other chronic diseases, such as heart disease.
Another factor that limits HGH into the body is consuming sugar within this post-exercise meal. Consuming sugar within this post-exercise meal, will negatively affect both your insulin sensitivity and your human growth hormone (HGH) production. By consuming fructose, including that from fruit juices, within this two-hour window will decrease your natural HGH production.
A high sugar meal after working out, or even a recovery drink (containing high sugar) after working out, will stop the benefits of exercise induced HGH. You can work out for hours, then eat a high sugar candy bar or have a high sugar energy drink, and this will shut down the synergistic benefits of HGH.
One of the biggest factors of why there is a decrease in HGH into the body is age. When we are young there is a lot of growth hormone that is being produced in the body. HGH helps with the development of children till we reach stop growing. Once the body tells us that the body stops growing, the body stops to produce HGH. This occurs around the age of 30 which is about the time when the onset of aging begins.
When we hit 30 there is less and less HGH being secreted in the body and we start to gain weight, lose muscle mass, lose hair, and the skin begins to sag and droop with an increase in crow’s feet and wrinkles.
There is nothing that can reverse aging there ways to slow the aging process through HGH releasers. HGH releasers or boosters are herbal supplements that do not contain any HGH but trick the body to produce more HGH into the body.
With HGH into the body it tell the body to revert back to like when we were in our 20’s.
With more HGH in the body you can start to slow down the effects of aging like:
